Because Trisa's actual birthday, June 26TH was a volleyball night and a couple of our other close friends would be out of town, we celebrated with her last night. She was told that it would be just our close group of girls plus a couple others. Names of several other girls came up on the subject of being invited. But we told her that they had various reasons for not being able to attend. She was understanding yet disappointed. So after choosing to meet at the Texas Roadhouse, we had to be sneaky and tell the employees that we would need enough space to seat roughly 10 people.
It was working out fine until our Waiter asked if we wanted to wait to order our drinks until all the other guests arrived. She caught on at that point and the surprise was ruined but she was still very happy! Soon 4 other guests were seated and we ordered our meals. After getting our food, another couple of people showed up! If I remember correctly, there were 12 of us in all, seated in two booths across from each other.
We stuffed ourselves to the point of being miserable and then headed to Tammy and Steve's to have some dessert. Just what we needed after all that other food! Uff da! But guess what....we ate more! It was a fun night of "girls night out!"
