Yep...It's still winter...

After having a busy day at work today (did I mention that I work for an airline?), I was fully expecting to have the snow cleaned off my driveway. After all, the complex I live in has contract people come in to do it for them. Once I drove down the small hill towards my driveway, I discovered to my dismay that only one small swipe had been made with a bobcat. I was ultimately able to drive into the garage, but nearly got myself stuck. So I shoveled the snow (minus the ice underneath)so that I can get out in the morning once again. Man, my forearms sure aren't happy with me right now!

MN apparently has closed down, and our previous city was annihilated with snow. Meanwhile, we had some wind today. Ah, the banana belt of ND . . .

We got some snow this week too -- in fact, we had to do some shoveling on Wednesday morning -- until our kind neighbor decided to help us out by bringing over his snow blower. We had 4-5 inches of wet/heavy snow. That was Wednesday -- today is Sunday, and we can see the grass in the backyard again, the driveway is snow free, and Kevin and I were standing outside talking with my dad -- and none of us had coats on! Gotta love "winter!"
